it used to be that with Windows XP – this was not possible. However with Windows 7 it’s supposed to be. I’m not sure how though as I’m not a regular Windows user.

how did u get the headset to pair with you mac? I can’t seem to get it, ive tried the pairing and it just wont do it. Please help

How do i pair the jabra stone with the iphone 4? im having trouble. i take the stone off the charger then i turn my blue tooth on and it cant discover it for nothing. any advice to solve this or to help me pair it?

Hi Jason-

Did you actually *use* the Stone for making Skype calls on a MacBook? (Sooooo many reviews / comments out there about problems with Bluetooth headsets in Skype on Mac.)

This is definitely possible. Let me outline the steps:

1) put the Stone into Bluetooth discovery mode. For more info, check your Stone users manual.

2) Go to the MacBook and bring up the Bluetooth Systems Preference panel. Click the plus button.

3) In the wizard, hit Headset. The Stone will appear, choose it.

4) if you’re asked for pin, enter 0000.

You should be good to go. You may need to choose Jabra Stone in your Skype audio settings as the preferred device.

does this work as a headset for skype on a macbook pro ? you mention you paired it with a macbook pro

I have the Plantronics headset and would recommend it other than the proprietary plug they use. I will bring it to @salemtribe if you want to have a play with it and don’t make it out by then.

Yeah, I buy most of my electronics online as well. But I’ve had back luck with the last 2 bluetooth headsets I’ve bought. I need to try them on first.
