The RedBox kiosks are now in many of the grocery stores around Central Ohio. Giant Eagle closed their video store and placed a RedBox outside instead. Having BlueRay will be great for the. If they can have a better variety and more copies of recent movies, they could really compete.

Eric, mine is made on Finland and have the same problem. I don´t know why, but I tested some of them in a Nokia store and realise the black ones have this problem. The silver ones don´t.
Very awkward!
My opinion: Since the phones are replaced in less than one year Nokia really doesn´t care too much about quality. Some people who has the N95 has alreay shifted to N95-8G and also to the N96.
That is the main problem.

Slingbox is very cool but annoys my family at home when I change channels on them and upload speeds pretty crappy from my DSL so I started using http://parkmytv.com which is a 'hosted tv' service for place-shifting devices. I sent them my box and for $49/mo I now have super fast bandwidth ie. video quality, no channel conflicts and free reboots if it locks up. It's a beta currently but accepting limited new customers, was lucky enough to get in and lovin it.

I don't believe its the phone. My husband and my daughter have the exact same phone, only my husband is on a at&t contract and my daughter is on a pay as you go phone. My daughters phone shows full bars but no service, yet my husband gets full bars and service, here at our house which is in a rural area. So I do believe the owner of a go phone is not able to roam.

Awesome write-up but of course, I'm going to be biased. Would love to read what you would think about "best apps to use on your e71" and other configuration tips and tricks to setting up the phone to work best.

- broadband tethering
- what apps to set up on the "long click" for the shortcut buttons
- using e71 as a podcatcher, download over wifi in the evening, listen on your way to work
- sharing via ovi, flickr, and vox
- what to put on your two profile views

that's just to name a few - as I learn more about what's out there, I'll do the same.

Regarding the Monetization: licensing SDK to developers - does this mean mobile handset OEMs? Then it could be considerable money.

But just developers who want to use Fonemesh's platform to build an app over it...I am not sure.

But the tech sounds really cool...Really waiting for you site to be up and may be have a look at a demo video...

Cheers!

The first "all you can eat" music download service that lets users copy tracks to any device with no strings attached launched on the 30th in the UK. Unlike Nokia Comes With Music, the Datz Music Lounge is all in MP3 and therefore doesn’t tie you up with a particular device. Get access to over 1.4 million tracks which will play on your iPod and unlike other services once downloaded the tracks are yours to keep forever, all for a 12 month contract costing a one off free of £99.99. findout more at datzmusiclounge.com
